The best defenceman in the CPHL and rising star Ilya Bryzgalov were shipped off tuesday night to the Flyers in exchange for struggling goaltender Kevin Weeks.

"We like this deal becasue it finally gives us a true #1 goaltender" said Penney. "Garon has played to the best of his ability this year but it wasn't enough for him to nail down the number one spot".

Kevin Weeks struggled with the Flyers posting a 4.19 GAA and a .856 Sv% this year in 17 games.

"We know that it was the Flyers defence that let Weeks down" said Penney. "How can a guy get good numbers when playing for a bunch of jerks". "A change of scenery is all Weeks needs and we fully expect him to play well for us" said Penney.

Indeed the Flyers have sent Kevin "Wanks" Weekes on his merry way to the pit of the leauge in Florida. Coming back to the Flyers are defenceman Radek Martinek and future goaltending star in the making Ilja Bryzgalov.

Lemmon had this to say about the deal "Take that you stupid pile of (many expletive deleted). I hope you enjoy your stay at the bottom you sack of..." Ha ha ha ha ha!!"

Lemmon says then said he wishes Panthers GM Dave Penney the best in dealing with the likes of Weekes. "I hope you don't plan on giving up less than 4 goals in a game!" He then pulled out a Kevin Weekes hockey card and covered it in lighter fluid, lit the card on fire, all the while cackling to himself with his menacing cape flowing behind him.

Looks like the Flyers have decided Robert Esche is ready to take full control of the Flyers path to the playoffs.

When asked about Dan's comments, GM Penney had this to say:

"I'm Not sure who this Penny guy is that you are talking about...I'm sure he is a really nice guy though" said Penney spelled with an 'EY'.


"Weeks will get a lot of playing time here in Florida...if he wins it will be great...if he doesn't...we'll just take Crosby".
