The company I work for (in Oil & Gas) is looking for a Quality Control Technician. Person would be responsible for measuring machined parts to drawings, assist with problems that arise, and ensure tracking on all peices. We 3rd party out all manufacturing, so we have a clean shop. It's a fairly laid back job, with a great atmosphere, even your own office with window. There would be very few people watching over you compared to other larger companies. As well, you would have the freedom to make changes to procedures to suit your needs.

If you can you use measuring tools (calipers, ID/OD mics, vernier's... etc.) and are able to use Microsoft Office, specifically excel, then please apply.

The position is located in Red Deer. If you are the person we see staying on with us for the long term, we would most likely pay for relocation.

Send me a pm and I will give you the contact info.

Edit for new info:
Pay starts between $40K-$45K with excellent benefits and company matching RRSP. Great place to work with excellent comradery. Large advancement potential.
