Blues welcome Freddy Modin

A deal that was completed late last night saw the St.Louis Blues sending winger Mark Parrish, prospect Stefan Blaho along with a draft pick, to the Philadelphia Flyers for Fredrik Modin and prospect Brooks Laich.

"Mark has tremendous scoring potential and skills, so it was hard letting him go, but Freddy has proven he can put up the points in the league over the years. As well we are thrilled to welcome top prospect Brooks Laich to our organization."

Blues continue to shore up their farm team with top prospects. Laich joins recently acquired Kyle Wanvig, Igor Radulov, and Michel Rupp on the farm.
