I use Skype for online telephone but I'm sick of having to sit at my PC to do it. I'd like to use a bluetooth piece instead. I didn't have much luck on google so I was hoping for some help here.

Bluetooth to a pc, eh? Don't think I've ever heard of it. My brother just bought a new laptop recently and it had Wifi and something else, don't think it was bluetooth but a "beaming" setting of sorts.

**edit**

You mean something like this?

That PC card is for laptops...

I think he meant a Blue Tooth adapter for PC and yes, such things do exist. They're usually connected through USB.

It is possible, if your PC doesn't have built in bluetooth, you will need to buy a bluetooth adapter like this one http://www.buy.com/cat/bluetooth/16626.html

There ya go, and yes, I should have looked closer. That'll learn me for searching to fast.

While we are on the subject of bluetooth devices, I bought this one for my cell:

The motorola H700. Thing blows chunks, you can hear a lot of static unless the phone is held almost in front of your face, kinda defeats the purpose. Anyone have one like this and happy with it? Suggestions for one that actually works? I paid $100 on sale, normally goes for $130. How much do you have to pay for one with decent reception?

monoprice.com has a USB-bluetooth adapter. They also have a USB-> Bluetooth/Infrared if that has any use

If you are looking for a PCI card, you can get the MSI 801.11G/Bluetooth combo card. http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=proddesc&prod_no=95&maincat_no=131

I have a Jabra BT350 that is actually really nice, although I don't know what it cost (I got it for free from Telus). The reception is clear both from my blackberry and my cell, and the only complaint I've got is that people hear a bit of an echo (like they are on a conference phone) when I am talking - but since that's the OTHER end, it's all good with me. I've occasionally forgotten I had the blackberry plugged in and charging when talking on it, and I've gone up to 10 feet away and it still didn't cut me off.

My previous laptop had Bluetooth. I then got a bluetooth mouse and it worked great. No USB dongle to think about.
