In recent weeks, ABA teams in Juarez, Mexico, and Albuquerque, N.M., have folded, and the Pittsburgh franchise moved to McKeesport, Pa. On Friday, Newman said the Calgary (Alberta) Drillers, who had threatened to suspend operations because of financial problems, would be replaced by the Visalia (Calif.) Dogs, who will assume Calgary's schedule.

so are the Drillers still a go? I've seen news reports of them practicsing I still think the league will be dead by next year though. I also hate the name no team in Calgary should use Drillers

The Drillers are still a go has far asa I know. But the Dogs have taken over tehir schedule. The Drillers will use a new schedule.

They should just suspend operations until next season. This is a mess.
