HITMEN’S BRETT CARSON NAMED AS REPLACEMENT

FOR TEAM WHL FOR THE 2004 ADT CANADA - RUSSIA CHALLENGE

Calgary, AB - The Western Hockey League today announced that defencemen Brett Carson of the Calgary Hitmen has been named as replacements for TEAM WHL in the 2004 ADT CHL Canada - Russia Challenge. Carson, along with Kris Russell of the Medicine Hat Tigers, replace defencemen Mark Fistric of the Vancouver Giants and Andy Rogers of the Calgary Hitmen who are unable to participate due to injuries. Fistric is out indefinitely with a broken jaw and Rogers is listed as week to week with an ankle injury.
