will compete in Lethbridge at the World Under 17 Hockey Challenge December 28, 2004 – January 4, 2005. This is the unofficial World Championship for this age level and the first stage for Hockey Canada to identify players for the National Under 18 Team and the World Junior Team.

UMmmm - something tells me Daniel Spence WONT be there. His team needs him.

I'm fairly sure that junior teams are required to release their players for national teams.

The Hitmen need Getzlaf over Christmas, that won't stop him from being at the World Juniors.
