"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we," Bush said. "They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

obviously a slip

however

security does do that. They think of all the ways to breach security so they can close the gaps. For the Olympics in Atlanta they ran every type of terrorist scenerio they could think of, so they had training to deal with it.

So I guess it's true, but I doubt that's what Bush meant

"Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning?"

"This is Preservation Month. I appreciate preservation. It's what you do when you run for president. You gotta preserve."

"I understand small business growth. I was one."

"I think we agree, the past is over."

I remember the Daily show did a spoof on Bush saying that line a couple years back. Basically the joke was that what Bush said was a real quote and we were just all idiots for not knowing it. They had the entire quote embroided on about 5 pillows stretched across a bed... very funny stuff.

A few people in my class picked this poster up when the 'poster guys' hit SAIT. Can't make them out here, but the ones you can are damn funny.

I love it when people criticize someone's grammar and then make a nice stupid mistake of their own. Well done!

I suppose people have higher standards for the President of the United States then someone on an internet messageboard.

Come on Dis, we know you like George, but this is all in good fun man.

I know it is, where was I being bitter?

It's kind of a weird internet phenomena...it seems whenever somebody criticizes grammar or spelling they end up making a mistake of their own.

Happens all the time, it's funny.....at least it's funny to me.

As if it were a joke: "When I was in Africa, I went to a park in BOTSWANA!!"

They showed it on Letterman's "GWB's joke that's not really a joke" a while ago.

My fave:

Around Christmas time, GW was reading "The Night Before Christmas" to some kids. Starts off "'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a.... [looks at the book]...mouse"

Oops, Bush did it again yesterday . . .

President Bush offered up a new entry for his catalog of "Bushisms" on Thursday, declaring that his administration will "never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people.
