GM Navroz Khimji has been shopping slick LW Sergei Samsonov in hopes to find more depth up front on the RW side.
GM Navroz has been seen recently talking in depth to many GM's around the league.
Sources say that The Islanders are looking at moving some of their awesome LW talent to the right side to fill the void left by Havlat and Demitra.
"It is tough to replace guys like that, however we did get the best offensive defenceman in the league and some good help up front. I am not regretting any of the teams transactions, what I am regretting is the fact that we were looking to give up a great young scorer in Sergei Samsonov. As of now he is off the market"
Khimji then was seen leaving a local pub with Samsonov and 4 local strippers...
The only words they said while leaving were ... "They dont call us LONG ISLAND for nothing.. ha ha ha"
