U of C Ball Hockey

I know a lot of you CPers are playing in the U of C Ball Hockey league this semester.... how's it going? I think it's some pretty fun stuff.

I'm playing in one of the A leagues - I won't say which team, I may get hated on here.

I am on a team in the B league, and holy crap do some people take that seriously. Who the hell has set plays for ball hockey is what I want to know?

Yea, I agree. Kinda funny. We were down 4-0 the last game and they scored another goal and this guy celebrates like Ilya Kovalchuk. Honestly.

What surprises me is the goaltending on some of the teams. Pretty solid all around, though their ball control is rough at times but that should be expected.

Turek fan, do you play goal?

Not at U of C, but my UVic ball hockey team had a pretty successful season. Third out of ten in season play and playing in the third place game next Wednesday. We lost in the semi final 4-3. I had a goal and an assist but it wasn't enough. Real tough loss. Sure it's intramural ball hockey but it still sucks to lose. We were all pumped to go to the final too. Oh well. Hopefully do better next semester.
