I was reading in the Sun that Prince Albert has never won in Calgary. Not once in ten years.

Hopefully we keep that streak going longer. 2-0-3 on this homestand looks good on the surface, but we have given up too many points. We need the two points tonight, especially since PA knocked off Medicine Hat.

As for predictions, I will only predict that Ladd takes a stupid and lazy slashing penalty sometime in the third period.

Huge win, Getzlaf with 2 goals, points streak at 7 games now. Hitmen undefeated in 6 games as well I believe.

Great effort by the Hitmen, especially in the face of ######ed officiating. Scoring the first goal on the powerplay, after Rehman handed the Raiders four straight powerplays to start the game deflated them, and they never recovered.

Rehman should be fired after tonights game though. He was completely out of control. I especially liked him giving Ladd an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty simply for asking "Why just me?", then gave Getzlaf a misconduct for trying to get an answer. Some referees just have to be the first star...

He was not to bad, but very hard to find on the ice. I would give him a 2/5 for tonight, he needs to get more in to the play, less looking to setup people.

He was pretty good, for once. Goal, two assists. His usual six minutes in penalties though, but the first was a crosschecking penalty he took defending a teammate who was elbowed (with no call), the last two were a joke, however.
