I don't know if anybody else is with me, but I think that there should be a Sophomore vs. Rookie game in the NFL, just to see how that would go... I think it would be a little bit interesting. Anybody else's thoughts on this?

Don't think it would ever happen....and you wouldn't be able to get a whole game out of this. The rosters would be pretty horrible, IMO.
Trying to fill a full roster would make the teams pretty bad.

Somewhat of a neat idea, but not going to happen.

Football is too physical to have an exhibition game of this nature. Not many teams would be willing to risk their investments. It's not like the NFL needs the money or the exposure that a game like this might bring.

I don't like the concept of rookie vs. sophmore games. Take the NBA: every year the rookie class gets hyped-up in the NBA marketing engine, and then get their clocks cleaned by the sophmores. It's not in any league's best interest to single out a marketable group of youngsters and make them look bad. And with the NFL, some years they'd have trouble filling a complete team from any given class.
