Hey Guys

I'm looking to purchase microwave ovens between 1kW - 2kW in the quantity of 20-30. All the microwaves have to be the same, and < $80 per unit. Anybody (from Future Shop to The Brick) can hook me up with good prices / discounts?

I'm looking for the best option of power (kW) per price ($). I don't care about special features in the microwave, all I care about is power and $.

If you can, let me know.

Thanks

Just wondering but why do you need 20-30 microwaves?
Are you planning to do some mythbusting like cooking a turkey in the microwave?

Take 20 to 30, 1kW to 2kW microwaves, put them together, and get 30kW or so of microwaves!

Maybe if you invite all of CP to the demonstration of whatever weapon of mass destruction you are building...

20 or 30 1.5kW (average) microwaves does not give the required
1.21 jigawatts.

Then he is going to blow most of his budget on this (http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6&products_id=28).

So has you're evil plan happened yet? Any explosions or radiation damage?

Having blown anything up yet. We'll see what happens when a bird flies in the way though.

So you have actually acquired the devices? We have a budding Nikolai Tesla on our hands. This is like an episode of 24.

Here's some more suspense...

I've been talking to the Shaw and the a division of the Canadian government about acquiring microwave sources.

I picked up a 12 foot reflector dish today.

This is almost getting amusing for me ;)

(If you really want to know, just PM and I'll tell you)

I think I read it somewhere before...

During the Gulf War, Iraqi troops would use 20-30 microwaves and turn them all on together in a closed area...the energy would then be picked up by American heat sensor as a tank stationed(or a few tanks, i forgot).

according to the source that the heat generated by a stationed tank was approximately the same as 20-30 microwaves going at the same time...

no links or anything, that's just what i remembered...

The only question I have, is how are you going to get them all up to 88MPH so it actually works?
