I had originally called Yankees in 7 games, so I'm gonna stick with it. I will be happy If I am wrong. What a great sports story it will be of Boston can win it.

Yankees 3-2

The curse on the Red Sox will come to an end in 2018. Until than we'll get to see the Boston media fire one Red Sox manager after another every offseason until they finally do beat the Yankees. The Red Sox at that point in time will be on their 20th manager in 20 years despite having a .616 winning pecentage over that span second best in baseball only to.....thats right the Yankees. I predict that the Yankees invite Steve Bartman to game 7 and give him seats by the Red Sox dugout. Bartman causes Mientkewicz to drop an easy foul out with 2 out in the bottom of the ninth, and on the next pitch Miguel Cairo launches the tying homerun into the second deck. Tanyan Sturtze than goes on to throw 4 perfect innings of relief, and Cairo again ends it with an inside the park homerun. The entire city of Boston melts down for three days until the next Sunday when the Pats win.

This is what I said a week ago, and I'll stick by it.

I'm afraid it will be a story we are all too familiar with. The BoSox will run out of gas. A valiant effort, but they'll go down swinging 5-4.

Hard to imagine that any lead is safe in this game, given the history, and all the overworked pitchers. I don't know if I am going to be more nervous down by a few or up by a few. This game has got to be a coin toss. A loss by the Sox would be devastating. I am predicting Pedro to have an important role tonight, I sure hope it on the good side!

In dramatic fashion much like last year, the curse of the bambino will continue. Something wild will happen and everybody will be talking about the curse once again.

Bo Sox to lose....in the world series!

I read today that St.L has never lost when they were down 3-2 in a series. Seven time successfull...Now that is a comeback team.

One thing we have going for us, is that if you are going to finally break the 86 year jinx, that it would be done in the most dramatic fashion possible with an absolutely monumental comeback. Given the history, you have to expect the most ironic, dramatic scenario to playout.

After going a very respectable 9-26 at the plate.

Red Sox 4-2 and the Yankees wear the shame of the greatest choke in history.

Then again, they've had ample opportunity to choke since they're in the playoffs all the time.

I would love nothing more than a yankees choke. Funny thing is I haven't watched a game of baseball since the 94 lockout. That is until Game 4 of this series. I was inexplicably drawn to it and it was great. If it wasn't for the NHL's lockout I probably wouldn't have watched baseball ever again. That said I wish the NHL were back right now. Screw Baseball. I really want to watch tonights game but I have a paper due tommorow and I still have a few pages to go. Maybe I should get my butt in gear...

I'll pick the Yanks 5-2 or 5-1. I just don't see the Red Sox winning this series. It's enough to win 3 in a row when you lost the first three games. Sadly, I would love to see the Bo Sox four away from the World Series Championship I just don't think it's going to happen. Yanks win this and the next series and win their billionth championship. BOO! :boom:

Is tonights game the most anticipated game ever? This article suggests so. The game that wasn't supposed to happen:
