Well how close is your diet to this? I eat lot's of carrots, not quite so many green veggies. I do eat a fair bit of fresh fruit and frozen berries. Any breads I do eat are whole grain. Fish....I maybe eat salmon once a month. Looks like I better lengthen the dogs walk every night as right now it's only 20 minutes.

Heres a PDF version if you care to see it.

Canad? Isn't that French for duck?

It's about time this was changed-the last one was so outdated, and the USA updated their food pyramid a couple of years ago. I'm glad portion size is mentioned, as that's often forgotten.

I am glad you posted this. I heard on the news yesterday they were going to release it. In the last little while, I have been making an effort to eat healthier during the day, so this should help. Not quite there yet though.

I don't see an entry for Slurpee's on this thing....I think I'm in trouble.

Im crazy busy right now and cant look, but Im looking forward to having a few mins and seeing what the differences between the new Canada Food Guide and the most recent food pyramid by the USDA are....Im curious as to if the Cdn recommendations are the same as the US ones.
