With all the scheduling talk that has happened as of late, I have been asking myself who has the worst travel schedule in the NHL?

The obvious answer is to calculate out how many km each team travels during the course of the season. I have figured out a good way to calculate this, but need some help with programming.

It should be a rather simple programming task, and I could probably write it myself in Commodore-64 BASIC, but don't have a 64 to do the writing.

I've got the raw data for this, just looking for someone who is willing to write a little program to manipulate the data.

Drop me a private message if you are curious and willing to help.

While that would show who has to do the most traveling throughout the year, it wouldnt show who has the worst travel schedule.
You would have to figure out how many times they go to a different timezone.
How they decide to travel. IE go to a different city directly after one game for a next day game.
There are many different factors other than distance.
