Players going nuts!

Alright so I am not sure if anyone saw it or not yesterday but as I was watching the Yankee-Sox game (first time I have watched more than 20 minutes of a baseball game) Fox showed highlights of the Cards - Astros game. I saw how the Cards pitcher absolutely went nuts after giving up the game-winning run.

So it got me thinking, what do you think are the all time player spaz(sp?) attacks in sports?

I remember watching Ron Hextall let in one of his many shady goals and just go nuts afterwards.

I seem to recall Rob Dibble having a couple of pretty classic meltdowns.

George Brett charging out of the Royals dugout in Yankee stadium in the "Pine Tar" incident is one baseball moment that I'll never forget.

But I think the angriest man I ever saw was Steelers coach Bill Cowher after the Steelers lost to Tennesse when Nedney totally dove to draw a roughing the kicker penalty and get like a 4th try to kick the game winning field goal. You could see the anger in Cowher and that he wanted to go grind Nedney and the Referee into a fine powder.

Lou Pinella has had some good ones. Stealing the base adn throwing it into the outfield a few years ago ranks up there. I think that was in the playoffs too.

I remember a player going nuts on a gatorade cooler with a bat once too.

Jim Schoenfeld hollering "have another donut you fat pig" was pretty good.

Tonya Harding "whacking" Nancy Kerrigan.
