Pond Hockey Championships

Well, this weekend I'm off to the Canadian Pond Hockey Championships in Huntsville, Ontario at Deerhurst Resort. Then two weeks from now off to the World Pond Hockey Championships in Plaster Rock New Brunswick. We played in the Worlds last year and it is an amazing time. If anyone ever gets the chance to play in it, jump at it. There are teams from all over Canada and the world. Anyone else ever played in it? Or, going to be playing this year in it?

Er, figured I'd up an old thread rather than start a new one.

Are there any good places in Calgary where I'll be guaranteed to find people playing pond hockey this weekend? (note: anyone saying McMahon Stadium will get a knuckle supper :D)

Preferably on an actual pond, not just on an outdoor rink. Leads muchly appreciated.

Don't know of any ponds but there is lots of rinks in Calgary, check out the outdoor rink thread. Do they play on chestermere lake?
