That's funny. I had a co-worker who is serbian. When someone asked where her accent is from she said Serbian. I said 'oh Serbian' and she snapped back "No I'm not a murderer", and I always wondered where the hell that came from. Grumpy girl.


Must be related to the Serbian contingent that works at my gf's company. At risk of falling into stereotypes - is there a cultural misunderstanding I'm not aware of here?
