another home run! First inning off Clemens. A fantastic off season so far for Larry, not to mention Albert Pujols, who, at 24, will only get better!

St. Louis has an absolutely sick lineup with Walker, Pujols, Edmonds, and Rolen coming up behind Tony Womack. If this team gets any pitching they could easily rolll their way to a World Series title. It would be cool for Walker to get a World Series ring and he's certainly played his best ball of the season in the past week and a half. Walker has some pretty impressive career numbers, and if you add a World Series ring to his career stats, and consider that he's won some gold gloves you'd think he'd be good enough to get borderline consideration for the Hall of Fame when he hangs em up. I think playing in Colorado all those years will hurt his chances, but I think he'll be one of those guys who gets some votes.
