Big game early in the schedule tonight for the Hitmen. The Ice have 11 points, the Hitmen have 10. Should be a good game. The ice have their top 5 scorers back from last season as well as 5 d-men. Live broadcast in 15 minutes on the fan.

Side bar: The hitmen made a trade with the Rebels today. This probably doesn't happen very often...its like the Flames trading with the Oilers.

RED DEER, AB - The Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club announced today that they have acquired 18-year old forward Cody McMullin from the Calgary Hitmen in exchange for a 7th round pick in the 2005 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.

McMullin is in his second season in the WHL, having played with the Tri-City Americans in 2003-04. He is not expected to be in the lineup tonight as the Rebels host the Regina Pats, 7:30 PM at the ENMAX Centrium

I am glad Getlaf got benched after that stupid undisciplined penalty he took. He is the captain for goodness sakes!!!
