Twins were down 5-3 in the top of the 8th, Morneau got an RBI single to make it 5-4, and Koskie tied it up with a ground rule double. Just Mariano Rivera's 3rd blown playoff save of his career. Another great game tonight!

Wow. I just got home so I missed the game but its interesting that Rivera blew the save. I wonder if Torre will come under fire for bringing him in when they were behind last night?

Going into the 10th inning now, looks like they're gonna leave Rivera in for his 3rd inning of relief. Tanyon Sturtze is warming up, who IMO, is the worst pitcher in the MLB.

They put Sturtze in! It should just be a matter of time now...

Too bad they blew it by leaving Nathan in too long. Crap.

Sturtze has actually pitched well for the Yanks this year, particularly the last month or so. Quantrill has faltered a bit and Sturtze has come in for some of the scenarios that Quantrill previously would always come in for.

Maybe the last month, but the year as a whole no. His ERA was in the mid to upper 5's
