Should be another good week in the NFL. I have a feeling that Atlanta (as bad as they are) might go to 4-0. Carolina is about a 100 time better team but for some reason Atlanta tends to beat them every damn time. I think the last time they played Vick had a huge game and lit up the scoreboard.

Should be a fun week !!

Is there someplace we can go to look at the records so far? I think someone registered us at some Yahoo thing or something but I don't know how to access it. Anyhoo, on with the picks:

Cincinnati at Pittsburgh - Pitt
Indianapolis at Jacksonville - Are the Jags for real? Can they beat Indy?
No. Colts win.
New England at Buffalo - Pats
N.Y. Giants at Green Bay - Pack
Oakland at Houston- Raiders
Philadelphia at Chicago - Eagles
Washington at Cleveland - Skins
Atlanta at Carolina - Falcons
New Orleans at Arizona - Saints
Denver at Tampa Bay - Bucs
N.Y. Jets at Miami - Jets
Tennessee at San Diego - Titans
St. Louis at San Francisco - Rams
Kansas City at Baltimore - Ravens

Is it just me or does this week kinda suck? Not many good matchups.

As much as I am not a KC fan, I can't see them going 0-4 and I think Baltimore is a farce in the first place.

Looks like Dis and I were the only guys to pick both Arizona and San Diego as home underdogs.

Today was weird...dont recall a day with so many home teams that were 'dogs.

That's because we're really, really smart.

Seriously though, having watched San Diego against Denver last week I thought they were a lot better defensively than they were last year and that they would give the Titans trouble on that side of the ball. Offense hasn't really been a problem for them over the last season and a few games and Tennessee isn't exactly an elite defensive team.

As for Arizona.....Dennis Green is way too good of a coach for that team to continue to lose game after game. I think the Cardinals will be fighting for a playoff spot again in the next couple of years.

Other thoughts from today....

Denver wins ugly again. Tampa played a whale of a game defensively but made too many dumb mistakes and it cost them. Griffin got going in the 4th quarter and I expect a big game from him next time out. Plummer was stellar again despite his receivers not being open enough.

Can't believe Jacksonville stayed with the Colts.

Bye, bye Tommy Maddox. There's no way Ben Rothliesberger is not the starter in Pittsburgh for the next 15 years. 2-0, nice start to a career.

Houston kicked the crap out of the hapless Raiders. I took great pleasure in watching that unfold.

Watch for the Chiefs to blow Baltimore out tomorrow night. This thing with Jamal Lewis will be a distraction....he may be going to prison very soon. Besides, I think the Chiefs are capable of pulling themselves together and playing as a team. I think they win comfortably...10+ points.
