The Phoeniz Coyotes have come to an agreement with the Florida Panthers on a deal that sees Sergei Gonchar(80) and Rene Bourque(71) leave the sun city. In return the Dawgs acquire (LW) Martin Rucinsky (76), (D) Janne Ninimaa (76), (LW) Mike Glumac (70). Gm Mac beleives that this move brings him the top 6 he needs to have a solid shot at the cup, while adding Ninimaa brings a higher Df rating which is crucial in building a cup contending team. The Coyotes top 6 now looks like this..... Alfredson(82), Allison (78), Sullivan (78)........ Jagr (82), Forsberg (81), Rucinsky (76).......while ninimaa and dandenault are expected to be key top four defenseman. The coyotes are pleased with the acquisitions and thank Gm Penney for the smooth talks.

Well after a ton of trades, poor Martin Rucinsky found himself on the 3rd line. Such a waste to have a guy like him there so GM Penney decided to upgrade his D.

"Gonchar is a solid player so we are happy to have him back" said Penney. "No doubt we have the best D in the entire CPHL and I look forward to seeing what the big 3 will do together!
