Yeah, that's what I do when I want to secure possession over something--sit on it. A word to future homerun ball seekers: if you want to establish diminion and control over a valueable ball, the best way to do so is to grab it, shove it down your pants, point at your crotch and yell, "that makes four of them!" However, be advised that doing so may decrease the value that the ball fetches at any later auctions.
