I like John Olerud. I always thought he was a classy guy. But if he signs with the Yankees, I'll have to despise him.

What did we all expect, evil empire just signs everyone. Olerud is now on the dislike side of my list.

that's baseball the yankees are in one league all their own. If they were a smart club in the post season they would have won at least six in a row by now. I do predict the Yanks to win the big one this year.

Why would you guys dislike Olerud for signing there? He is not exactly a big name player, and they need someone to replace Giambi who has a Tumour. This may be Johnny's last year, he wants to win the world series again. What better chance does he have that with the yanks?

Can't blame him. I actually like most of the guys on the Yankees as individuals this year (couldn't stand Karim Garcia last year).

Doesn't mean you have to cheer for the guys.

bah.

olerud has always come across as a pretty classy guy. So it doesn't matter to me...

And like someone said, why not have the Yanks sign him? They need a 1B man...unless you think Tony Clark is the answer :lol:

And for Olerud, well its better than the minors. And he gets another shot at the world series potentially. Not a bad deal for him.
