Props to my former teammate, and, RW on my line in Lake Bonavista minor hockey, Craig Adams.

1987-88 and 1989-90...long time ago, and am sure he doesn't remember me at all.

But absolutely shivering to see a guy that you once played with, step on the NHL ice, with some of the same manerisms you remember from 20 years ago, let alone watch him lift the Stanley Cup.

And really too bad he was robbed on that circa 2006 edition of the goal line "it was probably in" controversy...or didn't at least get a penalty shot.

He was the MVP in the first two periods.
I shouted out "CALGARIAN" to the oiler/canadian
bunch in my pub, many times. What a great game he played ,he was really terrific .
Craig Adams is a "Monster"!

I was only able to see the 3rd period, so if any of you could give me any reviews of Craig's game (desciptions of highlights) tonight would mean a lot!

I agree, what a surreal experience seeing a someone like that lift the cup!

He played for Bonavista? Hey me too! I still live a stones throw from the rink actually. Half the flames games i watch are at the Brewsters down the street. Didnt Ian and Jeff shultz also come through that organization? I think Cale Hulse too?

Hopefully I'll be able to say the same thing about Morgan Klimchuk when he hoists the cup as a Flame!

Played against Craig Adams pretty much all minor hockey in Calgary

Believe mike little was a former teammate in the Buffs org... Names familiar

Other guys from the era who had a dip

Nolan Baumgartener
Dale Purinton
Ryan Tobler
I'll stick Byran McCabe in there too, as he did play NEAA round that time
Jason Smith was a little older

You must have a strong arm to throw a stone from Antigonish

Is Craig Adams the last Hartford Whalers draft pick still playing?

Craig has had an exceptional career and is the epitome of heart over skill.

In the NHL...looks like.

Byron Ritchie is still playing in the Swiss League.
JS Giguere retired this summer.
Pronger is out for good.

Not a pick... But, as you know, Michael Nylander played for them before the Flames. Played some games in Sweden this season, before being injured.
