I don't listen to Jim Rome very much. I try to avoid him as much as possible! He doesn't really talk about sports much though. Last time I listened to his show he had more of an interest in Don Johnson's music career.

So here's even more reason why WKNR is celebrating Rome's upcoming stop - unlike the previous two visits, it won't be responsible for paying Rome's appearance fee, estimated at between $10,000 and $15,000.

It's no wonder Jim Rome loves making these "tour stops"

The guy seems like he talks just to hear himself speak, or to crack himself up. He is in it for the shock value, a sports radio's Howard Stern. Been like that since the "Chris" Everett episode. It makes me laugh how he sucks up to all his guests..
