Vaclav Varada signs new deal

Ottawa Sun(CP) - Vaclav Varada has signed a new long term deal with the Ottawa Senators. Terms of the deal was not released but this paper has learned that the Left Winger has been signed for three more years to commence once his current deal is complete.

"We felt positive that Vaclav wanted to stay in Ottawa for as long as possible. He felt very strongly about playing within that organization" stated head of client relations and senior partner of Money Inc. Greg Bates.

Ottawa is very pleased to be able to sign Varada to a long term deal. We feel he fits in quite well with what we are trying to building in Ottawa.

Varada is the first of a few Free agents we hope to announce in the months to come.
