Anyone else notice someone's just going nuts rating every topic on The Flames board?? Kind of annoying. A novel feature but I wouldn't miss them.

It takes more than one rating to make a thread rated, so it's more than one person.
That's kinda what its there for.

Am I the only one that noticed this?? I rated this thread the second I posted it with 1 star... so no, you do not need 2 votes in order for it to show up.
Is this board not for making suggestions?

Hm.. that's not how it's supposed to work.
Maybe the default isn't what the docs say. Either way it should work now.

Suggest that the starter of a thread should NOT be able to rate it either.

I agree Shawnski, though I don't believe that's an option in this software. I'll check though.

Kind of annoying.
I disagree. It's a good way to see if a thread is worth my time. If I see it was started by one of the regulars like Tranny, Cowperson, etc then I know it's going to be worthwhile. If it's somebody I don't know, and it's rated highly, then it's also worth a look.
If I see it's a thread by some random Oilers fan, and the subject is called "Oilers", and it only has 1 star, then I let it drop.
