Forbort no doubt saved a goal but Garland contacted Talbot and I'm sure Ward would have called for goaltender interference.

Still a heckuva play though.

Of all the guys on Arizona to not cover Hall might be last on my list. Yet Backlund let him go on the first goal.

But after that the Flames had a lot of great chances and could have potted 4 in that period. They had the two goals, a post, and a couple of other grade A chances. So it was nice to see them respond and turn that game in the first.

Maybe a touch fortunate blowing th coverage on Schmaltz late where he beat Talbot but put it wide. But the top line did a good job killing off the game not letting the Coyotes get the puck.
