Potential unpopular opinion - Hamonic has made everyone worse this season and should probably sit out the rest of the year

Hanifin-Hamonic were a disaster
Kylington-Hamonic may have been worse
Gustafsson-Hamonic would be no different than Kylington-Hamonic. Very similar play styles

Especially with how solid Forbort has been in his limited role. I could see a Forbort/Hamonic "shut down" pairing tried out in the playoffs.

It's also looked like Hanifin is finally playing his best hockey after a few awful games adjusting to life away from Hamonic.

Good lord what a disaster the whole Hamonic/Flames marriage has been. Seems like a great guy, but not only is he seemingly a black hole on the ice, he was/is a black hole asset wise too. Started with a 1st and two 2nds and will hopefully end with him just walking out the door with no return coming, and I say hopefully because just imagine if they extend him so he can continue to weigh down the on ice performance of the team while at the same sucking up a big chunk of cap space well into his 30s.
