The solo game for the Monday OOT which makes sense because of trade deadline day.

It is currently 1-1 and a big game for Columbus as they are in a tie with the Hurricanes for the last playoff spot in the east.

Columbus still with eight regulars on the shelf. Their lineup is the definition of 'a bunch of dudes'.

The Senators are spoilers. The game is now in overtime so that hurts the BJs tiebreaker.

Bemstrom scores the winning goal with 26 seconds left in overtime. The win puts Columbus in a playoff spot for now.

What happened to their other guy Elvis? Leave hurt?Yes, Elvis left the building after a collision with Dulcair. The first question after Korpisaalo took over was is the zamboni driver suiting up?

Hogberg was a toal stud in net for the Senators making 41 saves. There were only 2 penalties called all game. I think all teams that are involved in the playoff race/chase are going to be carrying a 3rd goalie to the end of the regular season. Merzlikins gets hurt in this game only 2 days after the Hurricanes have both their goalies injured and the close call with Markstrom.
