Sorry for the longer delay between videos, I moved last month and have been busy with house stuff since. I also have my wedding coming up in a few weeks so we'll see if I can manage another video before hand!

My planned order for the next videos: Rookies, Bennett, Colborne, Russell

Backlunds celebrations against the glass are the best.. Hope we get a lot of those this year.

I threw this up as well just in case it has some angles other ones don't (since I combine both broadcasts). It's also mostly 60fps too, so may as well have it out there I figure.

That OT goal against the Ducks.....

Backlund may be overshadowed by some emerging talents now, but he's as important to the Flames as anyone else. Plays with heart and for the crest on the front.

I agree. He's a 'softer' player by NHL hitting standards, but holds his own well on the boards and sets an example with his blocks. When guys like Gio and Backs block shots, how can a young player even begin to excuse themselves from doing the same?

Backlund is due for a mega break out year. And I don't mean simply a 0.4-0.5 ppg over a shortened season. I mean a full healthy season and 50+ pts. He's certainly capable. It's just he's our man of glass.
