I'd like to borrow the CP brain trust for a little information about a trinket I acquired.

I recently grabbed a signed stick for the Red Deer Rebels at a garage sale and I was just curious as to the signatures on the stick. I just thought it looked cool and would do nicely in a man cave or something. I tried comparing signatures and names/numbers, but couldn't really figure any out.

If I could get some help in figuring out the year this stick is from and maybe a few names on the stick, that would be great for future drunken conversations. :D

Thanks in advance!

Any guess as to what year the stick is from? Judging by the logo it probably isn't newer than 2011.

On the tip of the blade, there's a signature with the #14 beside it.

According to the website you supplied, the following players wore #14:
14 - Cam McGregor, Berkley Pennock, Chris Ovington, John Kachur, Justin Wallin, Jason Ertl, Jordan Knackstedt, Brennan Sonne, Daulton Siwak

Knowing signatures are pretty bad, it looks like it starts with a C. Of the 2 names above, I'd guess Chris Ovington. He played for the Rebels from 1996-99.

Some of the names sorta match, but not all.

Looks like a JH 16? Jay Henderson?

Says he played between about 1995-1996.

Could match Chris Ovington as #14 in the (1996-1999) range if both were still there.

Unfortunately I can't seem to find any rosters earlier than 1996-1997 to try and match.

Maybe?

McBain 18?

Hmm... No, doesn't seem quite right either.

17 – Curtis Cardinal? 1992-1995

Some of the names look like Mid 90s. That's my guess. :)
