2015/16 CalgaryPuck Fantasy Football Leagues

Good morning all,

As we edge closer to another exciting NFL season, that means that the fantasy football season is upon us. As per every year, there will be some CP leagues being setup. First, let us congratulate jeep991 for winning the championship in the A league this year!! Second, some congratulations should also be handed out to kmart and Simply Z Best (cp handle is currently a mystery) for winning the B & C leagues respectively, hopefully they can continue their success within the leagues they will be promoted to.

All spots are held by previous managers, should someone NOT want to renew their team, they are to let me know ASAP and their spot will be filled. If you aren't a member of any of the three leagues and would like to be on the waiting list, please post in this thread and spots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.

DRAFT TIME: Sunday September 6, 2015; 6:00 PM MST

Here are the standings from the A, B & C league, if your team name is nowhere close to your CP handle, please identify yourself so I ensure I send the details to the right person. I will be e-mailing out details to all managers shortly.

Currently, there are a few managers in the C league that have been banned from CP, therefore their spots are UP FOR GRABS! Those managers that have been bolded are moving up a division, those in italics are being demoted.

I dunno. We already have two threads devoted to fantasy football. So far, I've only received 3 PMs in regards to the idea, so maybe the appetite isn't really there.

We always have guys that quit playing in A league during the season. It would be nice if we could have 1 or 2 leagues of dedicated GMs. Why bother joining if you aren't going to finish?

I like your team. Good WR depth. Ellington is a nice RB3. I'd say you are going to do just fine.

I think that team is quite good. QB is the only super obvious area that could be improved.

That being said, I've found Yahoo generally overrates QB anyways.

Well I missed the draft due to a birthday party I had to attend. Auto draft did pretty decent but definitely looking to upgrade to RB situation with a deep WR roster.

Pagal sent the invitations months ago. Everyone else seemed to sign up for the right league. I sent them again last week.

Before we drafted I told you there were 10 in. You said last you looked there were 5. I didn't know when you looked last.

Regardless, after this year I don't think I'll be running these tiered leagues. I just don't have the time to dedicate to them. I'll probably continue with the A league but if the B and C leagues are to continue as tiered leagues, someone will have to take them over.

It's unfortunate happened to a couple long time mangers here are left in the wind. Thanks DDF for stepping up and trying to secure a spot so the rest of us could attempt a league

Thing that pisses me off though is all the mangers that didn't return how was it that those spots were giving to new guys while the C league guys waiting in the wings till the final day... they should have been entering the backdoor and not placed in the above leagues
