*National convention.. oops

Now, I am not one to fuss over a swear word (besides that C one.. can't stand it) but right after John Kerry's speach CNN cut to the guy running the balloons and such that were supposed to rain down on everyone on the floor on the convention. They had this guy's mic live on the air on CNN and he was getting very p*ssed off that the balloons were not coming down as fast or as heavy as he would like. All of a sudden he lets out -live on air -- Where are the rest of the fuc**ng balloons[I]

This isn't really a huge deal, but it was suprising and made me laugh.

The poor balloon people are going to feel his wrath

On the other hand, "My name is John Kerry, and I am reporting for duty" was great. We all know who didn't! ;)

In all seriousness I thought the Democrats did very well tonight. John Kerry gave a fantastic speach. He gave shots where ne needed to, but mostly stuck to his party's platforms and issue's. I was really impressed tonight, and that doesn't happen very often with politcians.

LOL. That's great. The Daily Show should have a field day with that guy dropping the F-bomb. Their coverage of the convention has been top-notch as usual. Hilarious.

the turd-miner/goat-ball licker bit by stephen colbert was probably the best comedy ive seen in a long time.

the daily show is easily the funniest comedy talk on tv.....and the guests john stewart has on are actually relevant to our world, not a cavalcade of sh*ty movie stars.

Couldn't agree more. I spent about an hour today at work wasting time at the Comedy Central site looking at various Daily Show clips. Pure gold.

Stephen Colbert and Rob Courdry are just incredible funny. Its too bad Steve Carell left the show however, Carrel's and Colbert's "Even Stevphen" was one funny bit.

Actually I was never a big fan of Carrell on the show. I didn't dig his "Produce Pete" skits or much of anything he did. Guy just rubbed me the wrong way. But he is the funniest thing in Achorman so maybe it was just me.

Colbert is far and away the best. Perfect delivery. Helms and Courdry are also great. Samantha Bee right now for me is the weak link.

The funny thing is how much I use the Daily Show to keep up with current events. That and of course CP are really the only reasons I know what the heck is going on in this world.

My favourite bit is Colbert doing a story on the Prince of Wales gay incident report.. it's so funny, because him and Stewart can't keep it together and start laughing halfway through. I still bust a gut.. It's not gay Jon, it's aristocratic!
