I will be running in the Spring Sprint for the Brain Tumour Foundation on May 23rd in Memory of a friend I lost several years ago. The last time I was in Calgary I also ran in the event. Now that I am back, I am excited to try and raise some money for the foundation. Last time, I offered a raffle where the winner got the opportunity to choose any jersey from my collection (BTW, HockeyKhan, if you're reading this, I still have your Autographed Leland Irving jersey)

I hung out with him on occasion growing up but got to know him better in Uni and convocated with him. Dude literally had a smile you could see from one end of campus to the other.

Perhaps we will run into each other for future runs.

Lots of people wear signed jerseys. I'd recommend the following steps to care for the autograph though:
1) Wash it sparingly
2) When you do wash it, put hockey sock tape over the signature and turn it inside out.
3) Wash by itself on the shortest cycle possible.
4) Hang Dry

As a brain tumour survivor, I very much appreciate this! I am nearing 2 years post-diagnosis, am 6 months post-treatment and have just had my first clean MRI.

I walked the 5km in the Spring Sprint so we may have crossed paths. I wish I had seen this before today!

I hope we cross paths next Spring Sprint then. :) I missed the run. I literally got off the plane from my trip only a few hours after the end of the Spring Sprint.
