So I got each of my parents a Nest Thermostat for Christmas and sure enoug, it takes them 3 months (i.e. beyond the return date) to realize that they don't want to mess with their thermostat settings because "they work and it took so long to get them right".
Sooooo, I have two Nest Thermostats for sale. Brand new in the box with the plastic wrap and everything. I even have the receipts.
