Hey guys, I have to deliver news papers on foot this winter and my gloves suck. My hands tend to freeze up real easily. What are the warmest gloves out their that you guys can recommend?

Black Diamond gloves from MEC, I haven't had an issue with cold hands since.

if you want warm hands, wear mitts. if you want dexterity, wear gloves.

Second the BD recommendation, solid gloves. From field work atop Mount Allen in the Rockies to ice fishing on a frozen Prairie lake in -30 to -40 weather, they never let me down.

For something more dexterious I would recommend these:

Keep your hands nimble and able to function while remaining dry and warm. Great utility glove for all around use.

Burton AK oven mitts. I have had poor circulation and frozen hands my whole life. Now my hands sweat. Wouldn't have it any other way.

I bought some outdoor research gloves from Campers Village and they've been awesome.

Hestra Seth Morrison 3 finger gloves or Arcteryx Alpha SV mitts are the best you'll likely find. Mitts = warmer than gloves. If you need gloves, Seth glove or Alpha SV glove version, same deal.

I know refreshing eh? We are concerned about cold hands, not hands that are holding firearms......;)

Go hybrid with lobster style gloves:

And ask yourself: when will I ever need to move my pinky, ring and middle finger independently of each other in an outdoor winter situation (the answer is: Never. Get yourself a pair of lobster gloves, they rule)
