They never had the ball. Instead, they have Rick Bell. That's pretty much all you need to know about the Calgary Sun.

You guys don't know what you're talking about. I'm convinced they're actually investing.

Worst paper ever.

My dad reads the thing cover to cover though.

Just like gathering around a radio or VHS tapes, I can't help but feel the print medium has had its run.

Calgary Sun is a trash rag. I'm also entertained by their purposefully hysterical headlines.

I liked their poles that always favored the wildrose. Haha.

Reading the Sun is like reading the National Enquirer. Crazy headlines to try an attract readers. Then you have Bell and his stupid saysing like "Silly Hall"

Did they use one of the poles Danielle has stuck up her arse?

Maybe they've been playing a lot of GTA V and she was a big part of a major corporation, so now they're just waiting for the BAWSAQ to go back up and cash out.

It is fun to trash the Sun (and I have personal reasons to do so), but the truth is, there isn't a newspaper anywhere that hasn't fallen victim to a simply typographical error.

The free Metro paper, available at seemingly every street corner downtown or any ctrain stop in the morning is easily a better news paper then the Calgary Sun.

Agreed. There are many reasons to hate on the Sun. But this isn't one of them

So we all make 100K and none of us has ever read the Calgary Sun.

The way you make a 100k + is by investing after murder while being a police officer.

How adamant is he?

Or maybe, he's Adam Ant. Hmm.

Maybe the mods could verify? Nice to have eTalk presence on CP.

Nah, it was good. Good enough that I wasn't sure if it was a joke or an honest mistake.

Back in the day when I worked at a magazine, one time instead of calling an author of an article a Sex Columnist, we called her a Sex Communist.

I read it on my ipad everyday. No physical paper.

Buy your Dad an ipad and he could too.

"From each according to his ability, to each according to his need." Maybe Marx was talking about the gay utopia.

Jay Leno built his empire on newspaper typos.

Gaffe or otherwise, serious news story. When I was a kid I played baseball on multiple teams/years with the guy taken into custody. The guy's dad was heavily involved with the team(s). Just trying to imagine what went wrong.
