Nashville added Ales Hemsky in a trade with the Flyers on Friday night. Headed the other way is Devante Smith-Pelly from the teams ECHL affiliate.
"We need to be better this season, and adding Hemsky is a step in that general direction, albeit a small one" said GM Slava. "With DSP we were never really sure about him making the NHL on a fulltime basis. Thanks to Joe for the talks and trade."
