Tampa Lands a Big Fish

In a deal that took a couple days of back and forth to complete.....

The Lightning have aquired Joe Thornton from the Ducks along with Max Reinhat and John Ramage. Tampa also gets back a 4th round pick they owed to the Ducks

Heading to Anaheim is Prospect D-man Jacob Trouba and the 18th overall pick in the 2013 draft.

This deal helps move the franchise forward. It gives us immediate help getting a star in his prime in Joe... a NHL ready prospect in Max and a longer range prospect in Rammage.
