The devils went 1-1-1 this week, but had a few good performances.

Player- Andy McDonald had 5 goals, 5 assists for 10 points in only 3 games. He also had 17 shots, 5 hits, 4 takeaways and a shot blocked.
He was first star in 2 games, and the 2nd star in the other game and assisted on the game winning goal in our only win.
He was also 50/68 in the faceoff circle for 73.5%!

Rookie- Brayden schenn had 4 shots, 3 hots, 1 TA and was even in the +- column and was 50% in the faceoff dot.

D-man- Duncan Keith led all Devils in ice time in our 3 games and had 2 assists for 2 points and was +2 in the week. He also had 12 shots, 6 hits, 2 takeaways and 3 shots blocked.

Unsung- Dman and 63 OV Cam Fowler has seen increased ice time and has performed well. In our 3 games he had 1 Goal and 1 Assist for 2 points , 2 shots, 9 hits and 4 blocked shots.

Montreal had a busy week this week, going 3-1-1, with their only regulation loss a one goal decision against the conference leading Islanders.

Montreal Nominates:

Player: Marian Hossa. Hossa finally gets a player nomination ahead of Anze, the dynamic duo always finishing each others play. This week Hossa had 4g, 3a, for 7 pts and +4 in 5 games.

Defense: Stephane Robidas. A defensive nomination, Robidas was one of the group that stepped it up after the Yandle injury. With increased minutes, Robidas put in a big defensive week. 0g, 3a, 3pts +5. 14 hits, 5 SB, and 3 TA.

Goaltender: Jimmy Howard. Howard had a stellar week, battling fatigue and going 3-1-1, stopping 162 of 174 shots for a shiny 0.931 save percentage over 5 games.

Karlsson led the Pens in scoring for the week recording points in every game he played. His passing skills have sparked the offense all week leading the team to a 2-0-1 week.

Kane's physical play and secondary scoring from the 3rd line were on display nicelt all week, earning him the 2nd star in a win.

Goalie
Carey Price 2-0-1 2.24 gaa .938 save %, 1st star - Price was lights out this week as all 3 games went into extra time. His only loss took place in the shootout. He was peppered with 112 shots on him in just 3 games but stood tall to earn 5 points for his team.
