I started a keeper league for this year only, currently I am in a daily 3 way battle for first. 8 player league and I picked last in the first round (snake order draft). 10 forwards, 4 defensemen, 2 goalies, and 2 reserves.

My biggest mistake was going with Lucic over Matt Moulson and Voracek (who wasn't even drafted). I also should have reconsidered my homer Kiprusoff pick, but I expected him to at least play a ton of games (his injury negated that). My saving grace is my team has been relatively healthy otherwise, but taking a rookie was probably a mistake too after seeing one day of games.

You could say taking Ovechkin was bad too, but my second choice would have been Karlsson, which would have cost me the pool in the end.

I love that I picked up Letang in like the 8th round; I can't believe he stayed on the board for that long. Good thing a couple guys kept taking Oiler bums instead.

Well I traded Pavelic for MA Fleury.

I have Fasth, Fleury, Rinne, and Schneider. 10 category league, and 4 are goaltending, GAA, W, total saves, and shut outs. Right now I think I need to replace guys like Fasth, and Schneider with guys who play more regularly.

Of course some moron in the league just traded Stamkos to another team for a first round pick next year. Beyond stupid because with us having 2 keepers that first round pick is more like a third rounder. This after he got conned into releasing Letang by the same guy 3 weeks ago when he was tops on the waiver priority. So I don't know if it's worth the effort to bother playing in a league when one guy is this stupid and keeps making another guys team this much better.
