"It will feature unseen photographs from KISS' 40-year career, and only 1,000 special editions will be made and signed by the rockers"

"The impressive tome, entitled KISS Monster, will be the same size as a guitar, making it the largest music book ever published."

As if I needed more reasons to dislike Gene Simmons and KISS.

Nice way to make a quick $4.299 million. Gene Simmons may be one of the worlds biggest asshats but can't say he doesn't know how to exploit his fans for all they're worth.

I preferred KISS when they were just a rock band.

I have a certain respect for the sheer brashness of Gene $immon$. He doesn't pretend for a second that he's about anything else besides the money. He has no problem slapping his face on a piece of crap and charging astronomical prices for it... but he's not gonna lie to you about it.

I preferred KISS when they were just a rock band.

I don't even prefer kiss while playing rock band.

Nothing will stop them from releasing a second book a year from now with all the same stuff but different cover and no signatures... For $299.00 lol

Well that's one way to beat piracy. Anyone have a giant scanner? Honestly, this is exactly the sort of thing the music industry should be doing more of, innovating instead of suing their fans.

I'm not sure Gene Simmons is innovating as much as squeezing out every last penny from his aging fan base. He has clearly and repeatedly stated he's all about the benjamins with no remose over it.

Was Gene Simmons the inspiration for Krusty the Clown? The similarities are uncanny.

I preferred KISS when I was in junior high and didn't know what good music was and rumor had it he was actually spewing his own blood. I think Kiss Destroyer was one of the first cassettes I ever bought.
