Great tribute. Fallen but not forgotten. So many good people gone, sucks. But nobody can ever take away the memories.

this is the same video they showed at the dome before the vancouver game. i'm guessing the whole league used it. :(

Great video. Belak had such an infectious smile.

Say what you will about HNIC and the way they allocate games/announcers etc, they are by far the best in the business for montage videos like this. TSN/Sportsnet have nothing on HNIC for that kind of stuff.

Here is the actual CBC video with original song if anyone wanted to hear it.

Thanks for sharing the videos, the HNIC one was particularly difficult to watch, particularly the photos of the players with their kids and families.

I find it's easy sometimes to just think of these guys as heroes on the ice playing a sport that we all love, and we forget that they are just regular men with families, and children that love them dearly. Now there are an awful lot of kids that are just desperately missing their dads. Moms and dads, wives, girlfriends, and partners having to lay these young men to rest. It breaks my heart.

Being in the UK I would have probably missed these videos, so thanks again for posting.

Very sad. CBC did very well. I would suggest the original post/video is replaced with the legit CBC one, instead of the overdub someone else did.

Very sad, and nicely done by CBC. I agree with Vanflamesfan. There's just something about CBC when they do montages or openings to their hockey broadcasts that other networks can't seem to replicate.

sorry for the bump. Does anybody know where the original of this is located. I cannot find it.
