Stemming from their exclusivity deals with the NFL, NCAA, and Arena Football. I'm actually pretty happy about this. Madden has been going downhill every since the competition with 2K Sports was removed.

I dont blame EA for madden, tho. The NFL actively sought exclusivity to make more coin

I thought it was part and parcel with NFL wanting coin, and EA wanting to eliminate the competition who released a better product at a 19.99 price point.

EPSN 2K5 was the best NFL game ever made, imo.
