Telus is bringing back the Clearnet brand to compete against the other unlimited talk and text brands.

I wonder if I can still get this handset:

Hopefully they bring back their commercials with the cute animals in front of a white background while oldies music plays. Those commercials were awesome and will never get old.

Why couldn't they just launch the unlimited plans on Telus?

why a single company is able to put out 3 "wireless" brand and saturate the market with false competition is beyond me.

When is the government going to step in and allow for some real competition with new carriers. Enough of this koodoo, clearnet, chat-r, virgin BS already...

The ulimited brands will have limited reception. This stops these cheaper brands from clogging up the service for Telus without cheapening the Telus brand by offering two different levels of service within Telus.

To be fair we do have some new carriers recently.

Wind and Mobilicity are both independent.
