Any thoughts on how Tiger will do this year?

Canadian David Hearn is currently two strokes behind the leader. Hearn is -10.

-11 now.

Hearn finished the round -6 and is -11 overall through the first three rounds.
Mickelson leads the tournament at -13.

Should be a good finish tomorrow.

Mickelson and Verplank tied atop the leaderboard thru 12.

Tiger will be a totally different player at Augusta I think. Phil has a lot of momentum now going into the Masters with this win.

Would love to see Westwood or Els win next week, but neither of them have been playing particularly well lately.

...as long as that little twerp Mcilroy doesn't come near the top of the leaderboard.

(as per the CBS telecast) when the world rankings come out tomorrow it will be the first time since the 1997 masters that Phil will be ahead of Tiger. Wow!!

Na got a 15 on a par 4 today..11 over par. Its a PGA record for shots over par on a par 4.

Wow, that was unbelievable.

He was mic'd up for golf channel as well. He was being really funny about it though.

Funny too that he had a very good round otherwise. If he made par on that hole he would have been one shot off the lead.

Tiger has withdrawn from the Player's after scoring a 42 on the front 9.

He's been dealing with some nagging injuries since the Masters, but you'd have to think this is a huge set back. Second year in a row he has WD from the Players. Never played particularly well there. Won it once back in 2000 or 2001 I believe.

yeah he said in an interview a couple days ago his achilles was still bothering him...which is a death knell for golfers.

Surprised he even tried it this week with such an injury...just wont allow you to swing the way you need to...and with the amount of torque he generates, makes it impossible to play at any level near what he needs to be.

I think his knee was also bothering him which was likely a bi-product of compensating for the achilles.

Really awesome to see Glover tearing it up again. I'm pulling for him to win this.

It is almost like someone flipped a switch this year with all the younger guys who are contending. There are a few every year, but this year it seems like a whole bunch of different names are contending on a weekly basis. It is kind of fun to try and figure out if a player can carry his momentum or if someone else is going to break through.

I'm hoping for a nice dramatic finish to the Players here. Should be good as the leaders are on 14 right now.

Tied going to 17! Turn on the golf, people!

It's been a weird final round, nobody wants to win this thing. All the leaders are going to shoot 70+. The 3rd round leader McDowell is looking at 80! He's hit 4 shots into the water.

What the heck happened to McDowell's swing today? Hopefully this is just one bad day for him.

What a clutch putt by Toms on 18 to send it to a playoff.

Choi's par putt barely snuck in! He's missed a few short ones today, they was definitely shaky.

Edit: the playoff starts on 17! Nice!

Two old guys must be nervous.

What an unreal 18th for Toms. Didn't they say there were only 3 or 4 birdies on the 18th today? Crazy.

Great putt by Toms..but I have to pull for Choi...pure class and such a humble dude.

Yikes...great that KJ won but man was that tough to watch Toms family when he missed that 3 footer.

You never want to see anyone lose like that. Hopefully Toms can rebound.

Choi's Bois (http://www.weiunderpar.com/post/chois-bois-cheer-on-their-favorite-player-to-victory)

If "Bois" is pronounces as "Choi's" should be...we get

Chae's Baes

Either way it is awesome for The Tank - pure class.
